After five years at Quaker and GSK Cary moved into media as Marketing Director for household name media companies. She has led brand and marketing strategy for big UK brands including Freeview and BBC One and created award-winning campaigns including SherlockLutherDr WhoEastendersStrictly Come DancingThe VoiceHappy Valley, and Bake Off to name a few.

 

Career highlights

At the BBC Cary helped transform BBC Three from a youth TV channel to an online service, making BBC Three a top tier BBC digital brand, delivering 10% cross-platform reach for 16- 24-year-olds. Also responsible for BBC TV social media, Cary led a review of over 100 accounts resulting in a strategy for rapid growth and innovation to take BBC content to new audiences. With expertise in consumer engagement and digital innovation, she also spearheaded the launch of Freeview Play and corporate rebranding of BBC Worldwide and The Economist Group.
